Heritage High School sophomore Megan Johnston has won a very competitive scholarship to study a full year in Germany. The U.S. State Department funds the Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange Program for motivated high school students who want to fully immerse themselves in German culture by living with a host family and attending a local high school. All expenses are paid for the students who serve as ambassadors of the United States. Johnston will have the opportunity to go to Berlin to appear before the Bundestag (Germany’s congress). She has been enrolled in Heritage’s German classes the past two years.
